Christmas and 2011...

We were looking forward to Emerson's first Christmas so much! He was the cutest thing! He LOVED the paper and bows, but didn't quite grasp that concept that there was something bigger and better waiting on the inside. :) Once the toys were opened and out of the packaging, he did enjoy playing with them! He was so fun...next year will be even better! Here is our little Santa Baby...














With the new year, brings Emerson's 8 month birthday on January 24th. We just can't believe he has been a part of our lives for 8 months! What a blessing! He is rolling around everywhere to get where he needs to go. He has started rocking on his hands and knees, but is refusing to crawl at the moment. No worries though, daddy is coaching him daily...and he should be crawling in no time. lol His first and favorite word is "dadadadadadada". Kyle loves it. I love it too. There is no greater sound in the world that the precious sounds and babbles your baby makes, even if it isn't my name! Here is a recent picture after bathtime!
